    At "Shakujii Everyone's Cafeteria", adults pay 300 yen (a "support meal" is 500 yen) and children (up to 18) eat free. If you have a reason, you may be able to eat free if you contact them in advance. They cannot help on the day. They also do night patrols and consultation (staff are not always there, so please contact them in advance). Email: hotline@wakaneri.org The official site gives 18:30 as the start time for Shakujii Everyone's Cafeteria (the Big Issue Japan guide says 19:30; we show the official 18:30).

    At "Cafe Shionomichi", if you use an "Ofukuwake ticket" (a ticket someone paid for in advance), you can have coffee or a light meal free of charge (the number of tickets is limited). They also offer housing support (such as private-room shelters) and "Fumidan", an online service to create a public assistance application, according to the official site.
