About this site

Purpose

This site helps people who need food find places in Tokyo that give food free of charge, such as food banks and food pantries. You can narrow down the places you may be able to use by the ward or city where you live, and by your situation, such as single parent, disability certificate, financial hardship, family with children, or older adult.

What we list and how we collect it

  • We read each group's official pages and write down who can use the place, when it is open, how to book, and how to contact them. The source is shown under "More details" for each place.
  • We only list information whose source we could confirm. Items we could not confirm are shown as "Please check".
  • We currently list 75 places with details (as of October 27, 2026).

Updates and corrections

  • Dates, who can use a place, and how to book can change. Please check by phone or on the official page before you go.
  • In principle, we do not list groups whose last confirmed activity was 1 year or more ago. For groups we keep because there is no news that they have closed, we show the date of the "last confirmed activity".
  • We remove groups that we have confirmed have stopped or closed.
  • To report a mistake, a change, or a place you want listed, please use the contact form below.

Please note

The information on this site does not guarantee that you can use a place. Who can use a place and the conditions are decided by each group. This site is not responsible for what happens as a result of the information listed. Please always check directly with each group.
